In China
printing factory, with the continuous advancement and development of
science and technology, hot stamping technology has more innovations in the
application of materials and processes, and enriches the expression of book printing techniques. Now there are
seven kinds of hot stamping processes:
Flat hot stamping: The most common hot
stamping, leaving a blank space around, to highlight the hot gold body for the
purpose. Relative to other bronzing, the production process is relatively
simple, if the number is not large, you can use hot stamping zinc plate
Anti-scalding: Contrary to the flat ironing
method, the subject part is left blank, and in the background hot stamping, the
size of the hot stamping area is determined according to the screen design requirements.
If the gold foil area is large, it is necessary to consider whether the
adhesion performance meets the process requirements.
Seal hot stamping: according to the need of
the screen, the combination of stamping and catalogue printing is skillfully combined, first printed in the
bronzing.
In the process of process, the set must be
relatively high, so it needs to be accurate to get the perfect result.
Refraction hot stamping: When the hot
stamping is produced, the main image and the background image are separated by
different thicknesses or lines, forming a refraction effect, emphasizing the
artistic feeling of the graphic line, usually using a laser engraving version.
Multiple scalding: Repeated bronzing in the
same graphic area twice or more requires multiple process operations. At the
same time, care must be taken to ensure that the two gold foils are compatible
to prevent inadvertent attachment.
Stereoscopic scalding: The same as
bronzing, but the three-dimensional gilding pays more attention to the bronzing
texture instead of the bulging effect. Usually, an embossed bronzing plate is
used, and the height of the bulge needs to be able to withstand the surface
tension of the foil. The products processed by the three-dimensional bronzing
technology are embossed three-dimensional patterns. Therefore, the first catalogue printing and after-best
ironing method is adopted. Because of its high precision and high quality
requirements, colleagues are more suitable for using hot stamping technology,
just as you can imagine. As such, designers need to carefully consider texture,
weight, gold foil, and ink when selecting paper or other carrier materials for
the three-dimensional stamping process. Positive and negative alignments are
also crucial. At the same time, the thickness of the paper will limit the
quality and effectiveness of your finished product. For example, paper that is
too thin or poorly tough can cause a wide range of cracking problems.
Special Effect Texture Stamping: According
to the creative needs, special effects hot stamping are produced to highlight
different special mechanism effects.
