On-line production line is to combine each processing in a certain order, so that can complete the processing of multiple processes at one time .

Composite printing production line is a complex of many printing processes, and its operation will be somewhat difficult. The following points must be paid attention to in practical use:

(1) It is necessary to ensure that the sequence between the units of the combined printing press used has enough variability to adapt to the printing process combination required by various printed matter. Generally, the hot stamping unit is placed at the end of the printing unit.

(2)   Must test of ink compatibility before catalog printing. Because the inks used in different printing processes have different compositions and are not compatible with each other, the inks used in two different systems may happen overprint and bond;

In addition, inks are sometimes incompatible with other post-press decorative processes such as hot stamping, inkjet and laser lettering. Inks and other consumables are best known through the manufacturer and suppliers of their performance.

(3) In the combination printing ink color personnel must go through formal color training, catalog printing factories combination and equipped with advanced color matching equipment such as spectral type colorimeter, because the same colour using different printing ink color matching, due to the paint making factory usually choose different base material, this means that different ink color easily when problems occur.

(4) Set the speed of printing unit according to printing requirements. On a combination press, the printing speed is always limited by one of the slower presses. Of course, combination printing is still in its infancy, and there are still many technical problems and material problems to be explored and improved.  However, there is no doubt that with the increasing personalization and diversification of printing, combination printing will be widely used.
