What is the difference between UV printing and ordinary
printing ? As a professional Chinese
printing factory, we will talk about it for you below:
The process is different
1. Ordinary printing: it is a technology to transfer the
ink to the surface of paper, fabric, plastic, leather and other materials
through plate making, ink application, pressure and other processes to copy the
original contents in batches.
2. UV printing: it is a kind of printing process which
can dry and solidify the ink by UV in book printing. It needs to combine the
ink containing photosensitizer with UV curing lamp.
Different technical characteristics
1. Ordinary printing: in addition to the use of
conventional ink, the use of other special ink (such as anti-counterfeiting
ink) printing methods can almost be classified into the scope of special book printing.
Such as the use of glass, ceramic, enamel printing ink, metal printing ink,
anti-counterfeiting ink, heat transfer and water transfer ink, conductive ink
for printing.
2. UV printing: the amount of UV printing ink is
equivalent to the traditional four-color printing process: less waste of UV
ink.
The application of UV printing is one of the most
important contents in printing industry. Deep processing of packaging products
such as: hot stamping, lamination, embossing and various glazing applications
have been very common in book
printing process, in which special effect glazing has become a trend.
The rise of a variety of glazing technology is largely
due to the development of technology and the configuration of printing press.
In the folding carton printing of cosmetics and cigarette packets, sheet fed
offset press occupies an absolute advantage. For those special parts that
offset printing is difficult to complete, it can be realized by screen printing
or sheet gravure printing.
